The Future Teaching Scholars programme is encouraging more STEM students and teachers to get involved with British Science Week 2016.

British Science Week (BSW) is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths - featuring fascinating, entertaining and engaging events and activities across the UK for people of all ages.

The week provides an opportunity to stimulate and support science teachers, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) professionals and the public to produce and participate in activities.

Anyone can organise an activity, and the British Science Association helps organisers plan by providing free activity and support resources. British Science Week 2015 saw more than 1.6 million participants take part in activities across the UK.

British Science Week 2016 will take place 11-20 March 2016. For more information about British Science Week or to register your activity, visit
