“ I wanted to inspire others with the same love of learning, intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for physics as I have ”
I am a physicist from the University of Warwick, and I was drawn to teaching as I wanted to inspire others with the same love of learning, intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for physics as I have. I have a passion for physics as it is arguably mankind's greatest endeavour: to understand our universe, and it is ongoing. To be able to teach the next generation about scientific breakthroughs throughout history and to give them the ability to understand future discoveries is an exciting concept.
The Future Teaching Scholars programme has given me a head start in my path to becoming a teacher by allowing me to observe and teach lessons across a range of ages and subjects, and encouraging me to engage in reading research into pedagogy. It has been great to be surrounded by like-minded people on the programme, and supporting each other throughout the past years has been a brilliant experience.
